    I work for a metal building company in Texas. A simple 2 car garage runs about $10,000. This is basically a box building with 2 doors. If you add windows or extra side doors then it will cost more. By going through a builder, your costs are going to be higher because of their mark-up. Check around in your area for reliable help.

    I am thinking we paid about $15,000 for a 24×36 steel frame garage including slab.
